The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for the purpose of acquiring a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software through full and open competition. The COTS software will provide robust workflow and business process capabilities to meet the immediate and future worflow needs of the FBI enterprise, inclusive of its enter employee and contractor workforce of 51,000 full-time personnel.
Options are required for the other Department of Justice (DOJ) Components to procure the same software products and support services either on a component-by-component basis or a combination of components throughout the life of the contract for up to an additional 100,000 full-time personnel.
The scope of this effort to acquire a software product solution that will enable effective and efficient incorporation of an expanding worflow and business process re-engineering (BPR) technology base into FBI and other DOJ Component operations.
