The Government provides the following answers to questions submitted by industry.

1. What GFP equipment is NAVAIR recommending to use for the Night Vision or Helmet System? Please provide Part Number and User Manuals.

ANSWER:

The Offeror is responsible for proposing a solution to meet the solicitation requirements. The Government does not intend to modify Attachment 4 - Government Furnished Property (GFP).xlsx, to include common support equipment. However, the following is a list of items that the government will provide access to on a not-to-interfere basis.

1)ANV-20/20, Infinity Focus Test Set - image quality test set O-Level

2)AN/ANV-126A, Night Vision Test Set - image quality test set O-Level

3) 268549 goggle purge kit - nitrogen purge

Technical Data Sheets for the ANV-20/20 and AN/ANV-126A are available via the internet. Data for the goggle purge kit is included as part of the Technical Library.

2. Is there an EVA Capabilities Document? If so, may we obtain a copy of it?

ANSWER

Yes, there is a Capabilities Document. No, the CDD will not be released because it is marked Distribution E: Distribution authorized to DoD Components only; Acquisition Sensitive. The specification is derived from and refines CDD requirements.
