Engineering, Technical, and Programmatic Services Supporting the NSWCPD Machinery Research and Silencing Division C/32 (SeaPort-NxG)

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, military sealift command, and unmanned vehicles.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide engineering, programmatic, and technical services to support the RDT&E of new and in-service shipboard automation and controls. Specific tasks include:

- Establishment of electric machine proof-of-concept test sites.

- Exploration of alternate energy sources such as batteries and fuel cells.

Period of Performance

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at the contractor’s facilities with an estimated 35% of work occurring on-site at NSWCPD facilities or other government locations during required travel.
