Engineering Tech/CADD Services

The Engineering Tech/CADD (ET) will perform Drafting duties utilizing standard drafting and CADD techniques. Serve as a computer aided design and drafting system (CADD) operator. Proficiency in AutoCad CADD 2020 is required. Must understand AutoCad concepts of external references (xrefs), paper space, model space and layout tabs. Must be competent in using Excel. Must have the ability to preplan work to optimize computers capabilities, making maximum use of duplication, mirroring, recall and modifications of existing data, or any other available computer system techniques. Must be able to converts computer data to plot mode and plots final drawing(s) on appropriate medium (paper, drafting, film, etc.). Have the ability to prepares and/or update Gravesite Layout Maps (GSLM) and Gravesite Burial Status Accounting Tool (GBSAT) for National Cemeteries, which reflect gravesites, topography, structures, roads, wells, and utilities. Maintains and updates as built drawings.
