Description

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Proposals (RFP), a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services contained in this notice. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government will not pay for any information/items submitted in response to the RFI. No determination as to the viability of this potential requirement has been made at this point and there is currently no solicitation for this effort.

Building B210 requires engineering support to update its current documentation, optimize space, and standardize various operational processes. The building houses several major organizations, and a coordinated effort is needed to ensure the layout meets current standards and stakeholder needs. The selectee will work closely with the WR-ALC/EN Point of Contact to achieve the outlined objectives.

Background
The Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) is seeking engineering support for Building B210 to update documentation, optimize space, and standardize operational processes. This building houses several major organizations, necessitating a coordinated effort to ensure the layout meets current standards and stakeholder needs. The selected contractor will collaborate closely with the WR-ALC/EN Point of Contact to achieve these objectives.

Work Details
The services required include:

1. Accurately documenting the current layout of Building B210 and developing an updated AutoCAD model.

2. Providing a space optimization proposal that prioritizes compliance with current civil engineering (CE) space allocation standards while co-locating staff by organization.

3. Developing a space optimization plan that includes new furniture layout, break room and break areas, printer stations, print shops, conference rooms, lobby, and waiting areas.

4. Creating a plan for swing space to accommodate future renovations based on the proposed optimized plan.

5. Implementing a standardized conference room naming and reservation system.

6. Standardizing directory markings and naming conventions throughout Building B210.
