Description

General Atomics, San Diego, California, is awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0014. This new Delivery Order develops Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 0061 to update the Block Switch Controller (BSC) Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) to stop launch armature if maneuvering past a failed Block Switch Sensor (BSS), which will prevent failure of the launch armature and avoid risks inclusive of a full launcher shutdown mid-launch and petential loss of aircraft or damage to the EMALS components. Work will be performed in San Diego, California and is expected to be completed by 31 December 2024.
