Background
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Lakehurst, NJ, is seeking engineering and technical services to support its Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department (PMTD).

The mission of PMTD includes the testing and support of Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Support Equipment (SE) systems. This contract aims to provide essential engineering expertise and technical support for ongoing operations related to critical Navy hardware.

Work Details
The contractor will provide non-personal services including:
1. Engineering and technical support for ALRE and SE systems, including testing, prototyping, and quality assurance.
2. Support for major programs such as Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS), Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG), Advanced Recovery Control (ARC), and others.
3. IT support for the Job Execution and Data Information (J.E.D.I.) System software suite, ensuring continuous operation of this VB.net application with extensive use of JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Stored Procedures, and SAP Crystal Reports.
4. Maintenance of compatibility with IT environments requiring Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010, Adobe Acrobat XI, etc.
5. Approximately 80% of work will occur at the Government site at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), with provisions for telework as necessary.
6. Monthly progress and financial status reporting to evaluate program objectives.
7. Technical support for the development and implementation of ALRE systems including managing test engineering equipment specialist expertise for EMALS/AAG Test Site development.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of 12 months with four additional 12-month option periods.

Place of Performance
The majority of work will be performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), NJ.
