Background
The U.S. Embassy Nairobi is seeking professional services to design and deliver the 2026 Employability Summit: Kenya Tech Frontiers – Pathways for a Virtual Workforce. The program aims to prepare Kenyan youth for opportunities in the U.S. virtual workforce, establish business linkages with American companies, and reinforce U.S. policy directives while positioning American Spaces in Kenya as hubs for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Work Details
The contractor will provide support and coordination services including:

1) Conducting a needs scan to identify priority skill areas;

2) Developing a comprehensive curriculum package for two training tracks: Track A focusing on remote work and employability skills, and Track B on trade and entrepreneurship;

3) Recruiting 100 participants through a merit-based process;

4) Delivering four full-day training sessions at five American Corner locations;

5) Facilitating business linkages and organizing summits;

6) Collecting participant evaluations to ensure quality of service.

Deliverables include a Work Plan & Curriculum Package, Participant Roster & Selection Documentation, and post-event reports.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 8 months, starting from October 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be delivered in-person at five U.S. government-affiliated American Spaces located in Nairobi CBD, Mtaani, Nakuru, Mombasa, and Lamu.
