Emon Information Session

Background
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Defense Sciences Office (DSO) is sponsoring an Information Session webcast to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of the anticipated Emon Disruption Opportunity (DO). The session aims to introduce the research community, including industry, academia, and government, to the Emon DO vision and goals, as well as explain the mechanics of a DARPA DO and its milestones.

This initiative is part of DARPA's Disruptioneering Program Announcement, which allows for rapid investment in innovative projects.

Work Details
The Information Session will cover the following key points:
1. Introduction to the Emon DO vision and goals.
2. Explanation of the mechanics of a DARPA Disruption Opportunity (DO).
3. Overview of milestones for this particular effort.
4. Discussion on the potential utility of constructing radar systems that leverage the tensorial nature of electromagnetic fields, aiming to extract more salient information through advanced waveforms and processing techniques.

Participants will have opportunities to share their contact information for collaboration and submit one-page profiles detailing their technical competencies.
