Emergency Repair-Gaylord Fire Suppression System

Sole Source Justification- The US Coast Guard Juneau MWR intend to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Southeast Extinguisher Service, Inc.This purchse order is made under the authority preserived in FAR 13/106-1 (b)(1). Only one source reasonably available that will satisfy the agency requirement. This Requirement is for emergency repairs of the rangehood controller and pipes for the fire suppression system in the MWR kitchen. The approximate estimated value of this action is less than $11,400.00.

The proposed procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301-1 Onl;y one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determionation by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the contracting Officer.

The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to thid notice.
