Emergency Deployment and Mobilization Services

Background
The Center for Response, Office of Response Logistics, under the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is focused on preparing for, responding to, and recovering from public health emergencies and disasters. This includes deploying medical, veterinary, mortuary, and behavioral health responders to crisis areas.

The ASPR's mission involves activating the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) to supplement public health resources during significant events.

Work Details
The RFI seeks information on emergency deployment and mobilization services capable of supporting various events such as global pandemics, natural disasters, large readiness exercises, relief efforts, continuity of operations events, and national special security events. Key tasks include:

1) Rapidly mobilizing groups of HHS responders;
2) Arranging commercial lodging and transportation within a fast-paced environment;
3) Providing a call center or hotline for travel inquiries and emergency rebooking;
4) Synchronizing lodging and transportation logistics for personnel deployment;
5) Ensuring timely arrangements are made within a short notice period (12-24 hours).

The vendor must be able to handle bulk travel requests efficiently.
