EMC Partner Handheld Electrostatic Discharge System

Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of a Brand Name requirement for an EMC Partner Handheld Electrostatic Discharge System. This procurement is specifically set aside for small businesses, emphasizing NASA's commitment to supporting small business participation in government contracting. The goal of the contract is to acquire an electrostatic discharge test system that meets specific military and aviation standards for testing aerospace and spaceflight hardware.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of one Electrostatic Discharge Test System that complies with the following specifications:
1. Compliance with standards:
a. MIL-STD-416G Section 5.16, CS118, Personnel borne electrostatic discharge
b. DO-160 Section 25, Electrostatic Discharge.
2. The ESD Test System must include:
a. An electrostatic discharge generator capable of generating all levels specified in both standards.
b. Electrostatic generator circuit network(s) that comply with both standards.
c. An air discharge tip for the generator that complies with both standards.
d. A contact discharge tip for the generator that complies with MIL-STD-416G Section 5.16.
e. An electrostatic discharge target that complies with MIL-STD-416G Section 5.16 for measuring the generator output waveform on an oscilloscope.
3. The ESD Test system must have a case that can hold all items of the system.
4. The total mass of the ESD Test system components and case must be less than 20 lbs.
5. Lead time for delivery of product is 2 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is expected to be completed by July 7, 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to NASA - Glenn Research Center, located at 21000 Brookpark Rd, Cleveland, OH 44135.
