Embedded Global Positioning System (GPS) Inertial Navigation System (INS) /EGI-Modernized (EGI-M) Production & Sustainment Contract   2

AFLCMC/WNKF, located at Robins AFB, GA, has awarded, on a sole source basis, a contract for production and sustainment of the Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System (EGI) program for the Air Force and other agencies. The production and sustainment contract will provide EGI production units, contractor depot repair (CDR), integration, modernization (EGI program-directed retrofit/upgrades, Diminishing Manufacturing Source monitoring and upgrades, and service life deficiencies), technical support, travel, operational flight program (OFP) upgrades and test, host platform integration support, all associated data documentation, engineering studies, and warranty support.

The Government has awarded the contract to Honeywell International, Inc., 13350 US Highway 19 North, Clearwater, FL 33764-7226, CAGE 0BFA5. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The Government does not own or possess rights to reprocurement data to facilitate competitive procurement of the instant sustainment services from any other source.

The Government awarded an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with 10 one-year ordering periods. The contract includes Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and Cost Reimbursement-No-Fee pricing arrangements.
