EMALS Network Switch Drawing and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Updates

The Naval Air Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed Price order modification to General Atomics, San Diego, CA, under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-16-G-0006, for revised Network Switch Drawings and Integrated Logistics Support updates to support the operation of the EMALS systems of the Ford Class of Carriers.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10 U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(l), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 19-0204. The redacted CJ&A is attached to the announcement.
