Elevator Preventive Maintenance Service Contract at Montevideo, UY

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Montevideo, Uruguay, is seeking to establish a contract for preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for elevators located within the Embassy compound. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the elevators operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for: recurring onsite preventive maintenance visits; emergency callback services; inspection and testing support; technical reporting; and related elevator maintenance services. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, tools, testing equipment, consumables, replacement parts, and technical support. Additionally, the contractor must demonstrate the capability to provide continuous local technical support and maintain an operational presence in Montevideo throughout the contract period.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must demonstrate their capability to provide continuous local technical support. They are required to submit a strategic plan that includes a work plan addressing all elements in the Performance Work Statement. Offerors must identify types and quantities of equipment required for service performance and their condition. They must also provide evidence of necessary personnel, equipment, financial resources, and compliance with local licensing and permit requirements. A Certificate of Insurance or a statement regarding insurance provision is also required. Offerors should list clients from the past three years demonstrating relevant experience.
