Description

This project consists of facillity maintenance management and services for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) maintenance and services. Please refer to the solicitation and all attachments for details and submission requirements.

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW) is issuing a contract for facility maintenance management and services, specifically focusing on Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) maintenance and services at Navy and Marine Corps installations in San Diego and other locations throughout Southern California.

The goal is to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of VTE systems across these facilities.

Work Details
The contract involves recurring and non-recurring maintenance services for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE), including elevators, at various Navy and Marine Corps installations.

Tasks include regular inspections, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and support services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor is required to provide a staffing plan, technical performance plan, operations and management plan, work reception plan, capacity response strategy, recruitment methods for specialized skills, contractor furnished property details, and a phase-in plan.

The contractor must also support electronic contracting via FedMall for IQ pre-priced line item services.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes one base period of 12 months starting November 1, 2021, followed by four one-year option periods and an additional six-month extension option.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Navy and Marine Corps installations in San Diego and other locations throughout Southern California.
