The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking full service maintenance, inspection, testing, and emergency services for Government-Owned Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTEs) elevators at the Spokane VA Medical Center (VAMC).
The goal of this contract is to ensure that all elevators are maintained in safe and reliable operating conditions, adhering to federal, state, and local codes.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive maintenance services which include:
1. Assigning certified Journeyman elevator mechanics for regular inspections, cleaning, adjustments, lubrication, and repairs.
2. Performing routine repair work immediately or continuously until VTEs are restored to operational status.
3. Notifying the Contract Officer Representative (COR) if repairs cannot be made immediately.
4. Reporting completion of repairs via email to the COR.
5. Maintaining compliance with various safety codes including ASME A17.1 and NFPA 70.
6. Ensuring that performance levels such as contract speed, leveling accuracy, door operation times, and safety features are consistently maintained.
7. Cleaning hoist ways quarterly and replacing any burned-out lights during inspections.
8. Providing timely and accurate reports on maintenance activities and ensuring that 95% of repairs are completed in a timely manner.
