Description

This solicitation is for the contractor to furnish all materials, supplies, tools, parts, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, communication, and quality control to Maintenance and Inspection of multiple elevators across the Louisville District. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms, clauses, and conditions incorporated herein. Quotes are due on 6 July 2026 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. NOTE: THIS RFQ IS UNRESTRICTED. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561621. The size standard is $25M.The solicitation will be available on the web only. Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can view, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at the Federal Business Opportunities. Amendments will be available from the beta.sam.gov website by download only. Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive maintenance and inspection services for multiple elevators within the Louisville District. The scope of work includes:

1. Routine Maintenance: Conducting quarterly lubrication and examination services for each elevator, ensuring no interval exceeds three months since the last service. All maintenance must comply with elevator manufacturers' inspection criteria and ANSI standards (A17.1, A17.2, A17.3).

2. Periodic Inspections: Performing no-load inspections during the first quarter of each year in conjunction with routine maintenance, adhering to manufacturer criteria and ANSI standards.

3. Full-Load Inspections: Conducting full-load inspections for each elevator, which will include routine inspections as per manufacturer guidelines and ANSI standards.

4. Emergency Repairs: Responding to equipment malfunctions or failures with a one-day onsite emergency service call that covers all labor, travel, and per diem costs necessary for repairs. The contractor is responsible for all costs related to repairs and replacements as specified by the system manufacturer but is not liable for damages due to negligence or misuse by others.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a five-year ordering period during which services will be performed as needed.
