Electronic Security Systems (ESS) VIII

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Engineering and Support Center (CEHNC) is seeking to procure and install Electronic Security Systems (ESS) as part of the eighth generation (ESS VIII) of multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
The goal is to ensure compliance with U.S. Government Regulations, National Codes, and industry standards while utilizing state-of-the-art systems for security and force protection measures.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, non-personal services, and other items necessary to procure, install, service, and maintain various Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
Specific tasks include:
1. Prepare system and component documentation including installation drawings and testing procedures.
2. Procure and install software with prior approval from the government.
3. Procure and install hardware as per specifications.
4. Install data transmission systems in compliance with applicable certification requirements.
5. Provide interfaces to existing data transmission systems.
6. Identify long lead items that may impact schedules.
7. Develop databases for the system using survey data and industry standards.
8. Provide graphics for the system based on engineering surveys.
9. Conduct factory testing and commissioning of systems.
10. Perform minor construction work necessary for equipment installation.
11. Conduct engineering surveys to develop installation drawings.
12. Provide Operation and Maintenance manuals for installed systems.
13. Deliver training on installed systems as required by task orders.
14. Offer maintenance services as specified in individual task orders.
15. Prepare as-built installation drawings in specified formats within 30 days post-acceptance.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of 36 months with two optional ordering periods of 24 months each.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at various locations as specified in individual task orders.
