Electronic Frequency Converter (EFC)   2

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to award BAE Systems Electronic Systems a sole-source, Fixed Price and Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Contract under Solicitation N0001918R0043 for NRE, hardware and support services, as required, for the CV-4334/ALE-55 Electronic Frequency Converter (EFC) program. This Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) is planned to contain a base year with one option year, and is intended to satisfy Government requirements for Fiscal Years (FY) 18 and 19, with a best estimated quantity of 64 systems in the base year and 95 systems in the option year. The anticipated award date is May 2018.

These requirements will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. BAE Systems is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the CV-4334/ALE-55 Electronic Frequency Converter (EFC). As such, it is the only responsible source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to meet the Government's requirement.
