Electrical Panel Replacement, East Hampton, NY   3

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking to upgrade the electric service from 100 to 200 amps in eight government housing units located in East Hampton, NY. The existing electrical panels are obsolete and show signs of water intrusion, and the meter sockets are no longer approved for use on the Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) distribution. The work will be subject to inspection and acceptance by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

Work Details
The scope of work includes upgrading the electric service in eight housing units, including replacing existing electric panels, meter sockets, and entrance conductors with new 200-amp panels, main breakers, branch circuit breakers, and grounding as required by the National Electrical Code (NEC). The contractor is responsible for coordinating with PSEGLI for any interruption of power needed to complete panel replacements, obtaining a certificate of compliance and inspection from local authorities upon completion of work, and sourcing all materials required for the project.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is 45 days from the contract award date.

The construction projects will be performed at eight U.S. Coast Guard Housing units located at various addresses in East Hampton, NY.
