Electrical Maintenance and Repairs Blanket Purchase Agreement(s)

Background
The Blue Grass Army Depot, located in Richmond KY, has a requirement for Blanket Purchase Agreement(s) for electrical maintenance and repairs to explosion-proof electrical systems and components. The agency will be placing Master Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with the following vendors: Hepburn Consultants, Inc., GIGA Inc., and Intersteel Group, Inc.

Work Details
Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment to provide maintenance and repair services for electrical systems, distribution networks and systems, and various electrical equipment at Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD). Examples of unusual equipment requiring maintenance/repairs include, but are not limited to: explosion-proof electrical systems and components, fire protection notification systems, various industrial equipment and controls, deluge system controls, traffic gate arm machinery and controls, dock leveler equipment and controls, specialty lights/fixtures, air compressors, lightning protection systems, etc… All design and service work performed on this project shall adhere to the latest addition of the following standards: Army Regulation 420-1 (AR 420-1), International Building Code (IBC), National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association 70 (NFPA 70), Dept of the Army Pamphlet 385-64 (DA PAM 385-64). Contractor shall adhere to required response times listed for the priority of each work order issued. The Contractor shall submit a Construction and Demolition (C&D) Waste Management Plan for government approval within 15 days after contract award and prior to initiating any site clearance activities as required by UFGS-01572. Work locations include the entire installation including the Blue Grass Army Depot Restricted Area and Chemical Limited Area (CLA). Working within the Restricted Area requires a local background check for all employees. Working within the CLA requires a local background check for all employees as well as submission and clearance of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for all employees requiring access. All contractor personnel requiring access to the CLA must have required medical clearance and training.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is base year and two (2) option years beginning from the date of issuance of “Notice to Proceed” (NTP) by the BGAD Contracting Office.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond KY.
