4. Description of Requirement
The Government has a requirement for the procurement, installation, and testing of replacement batteries for an existing APC VT 30kVA, 208 V Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system (Model # SUVTPF30KB4F), along with the removal and disposal of the existing failed batteries.

The Government intends to solicit orally IAW RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.

Background
The Government has a requirement for the procurement, installation, and testing of replacement batteries for an existing APC VT 30kVA, 208 V Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system. This contract action is being issued by the government as a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

Work Details
The contract includes the procurement and installation of manufacturer-approved replacement batteries for the APC VT 30kVA UPS system (Model # SUVTPF30KB4F). The current UPS configuration consists of a total of 40 batteries, which includes an expansion pack/cabinet.

The specifications are as follows:
- Current configuration: 24 batteries without control module (6 rows of 4 each) and 16 batteries with control module (4 rows of 4 each).
- Required new battery specifications:
- Manufacturer: APC/Schneider Electric approved.
- Modular Battery Part #: WMBRS8-MB-T4.
- New batteries must have at least the same capacity/runtime as the current batteries when new.
