Eglin AFB, Florida- Westgate Fuel Image Update

Background
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is issuing this solicitation for the Westgate Fuel Image Update project at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The AAFES is an instrumentality of the United States Government, dedicated to providing quality goods and services to military personnel and their families.

The goal of this contract is to update the image of the existing gas station at the base, ensuring it meets current standards and operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will perform an image update of the existing gas station, which includes various construction tasks. Special conditions include phasing construction to minimize disruption.

The contractor must comply with all applicable federal laws, including the Privacy Act of 1974, and ensure that no munitions or munitions-related materials are present on site. In case of unexpected artifacts or relics found during site preparation, work must cease immediately until proper notifications are made.

The contractor is also responsible for maintaining fire safety practices throughout the project, including good housekeeping to reduce fire risks and ensuring proper storage of flammable materials. Additionally, compliance with regulations regarding telecommunications equipment as per the 2019 NDAA and other relevant laws is required.

Period of Performance
The construction period for this project is estimated to be 120 calendar days.
