Description

Enterprise Contract Writing Module (ECWM) initiative within the J6 Defense Business Systems Support Office (DBSSO). ECWM is a modern, low-code, Business Process Management (BPM) based contract writing solution with an underlying technology solution set initially developed by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is undertaking a critical modernization initiative involving the migration from the Standard Procurement System (SPS) and Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2) to the Electronic Contract Writing Module (ECWM).
This initiative, mandated in 2020, aims to enhance procurement processes and ensure audit readiness while addressing cybersecurity concerns.
The DLA's mission is to support warfighter readiness through effective procurement practices.

Work Details
The contract extension involves system integration services necessary for the successful migration to ECWM.
Key tasks include:
1. Continuation of system integration services related to the migration from SPS and PD2 to ECWM.
2. Identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with DoD security regulations, and monitoring for potential threats.
