EFD Software Upgrade and cloud Modernization

Background
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is seeking to upgrade its Enterprise Funds Distribution (EFD) system by migrating it to a Department of Defense (DoD) approved Enterprise Commercial Cloud provider.

This initiative is part of DFAS's mission to enhance its financial management capabilities through modern technology solutions.

Work Details
The objective of this requirement is to migrate the EFD system to a DoD approved Enterprise Commercial Cloud provider.

DFAS requires professional Information Technology services for the following tasks:
1) Upgrading to the current Momentum Financials software;
2) Integrating the updated Momentum Financials software with the EFD system;
3) Migrating the EFD system to the cloud.

The Momentum Financials software suite serves as the foundational platform for the EFD system, and only CGI Federal, which owns this proprietary software, can perform necessary modifications to its codebase.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be determined upon award but will encompass the timeframe necessary to complete the migration and integration tasks.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at locations designated by DFAS, potentially including remote work environments as permitted.
