Description

GSA/Office of Internal Acquisition publishes this Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Siemens Industry, Inc., 1000 Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089, Manufacturer of the Ecodomus Software Suite. This is not a solicitation.

This is not a solicitation. GSA intends to award the purchase Ecodomus Software Subscriptions. The contractor will provide the required software subscriptions. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities SAM.gov.

The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See approved Justification and Approval attached.

Background
The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to award a sole source contract to Siemens Industry, Inc. for the purchase of Ecodomus Software Subscriptions. This decision is based on the authority of 6.302-1, as only one responsible source can provide the required software subscriptions.

Work Details
Siemens Industry, Inc. will supply EcoDomus software subscription services to support the GSA's Public Building Service (PBS-IT) in Washington, D.C. The software will provide a common data environment (CDE) for visualizing, analyzing, and sharing building information modeling (BIM) geometry and information. It will improve project delivery and performance through comparison of deliverables, reflection of real-world conditions, and data exchange with related enterprise applications such as NCMMS and Kahua.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a base year and four option years, with the period of performance spanning from October 20, 2023, to October 19, 2028.
