Description

The Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) requires Laboratory Analysis Services for various water quality and sludge parameters at Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel and Treatment Plant, Leadville, Colorado in Lake County.

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) is seeking laboratory analysis services to monitor water quality and sludge parameters at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel and Treatment Plant in Leadville, Colorado. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) discharge permit and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations regarding metal hydroxide sludge disposal.

Work Details
The contractor will provide laboratory analysis of water and sludge samples as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The services include:
- Conducting water lab analysis for compliance monitoring related to NPDES discharge permits.
- Analyzing sludge samples for RCRA compliance concerning metal hydroxide disposal.
- Delivering results in accordance with the requirements outlined in the PWS.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2030, consisting of a base year followed by four option years.
