Background
The Air Force Sustainment Center’s Maintenance Contracting Branch (AFSC/PZIMC) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the maintenance of two Sciaky Electron Beam Welders.

The mission of this contract is to ensure the operational capability and longevity of the welders through preventive and remedial maintenance services. The goal is to protect the equipment investment by performing necessary maintenance in accordance with OEM specifications.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, materials, parts, quality control, transportation, and inspection manuals necessary to perform Preventive and Remedial Maintenance on Two (2) Sciaky Electron Beam Welders Serial Numbers 11240 and 11724 on-base for the Oklahoma City–Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC).

This includes:
1. Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conducting two PMs per year on each welder according to OEM specifications. The Contractor must provide a PM schedule within ten business days after contract award and notify the COR seven business days prior to each scheduled PM visit.

2. Remedial Maintenance (RM): Repairing equipment and systems that have malfunctioned or are unable to perform as designed. The Contractor must respond to malfunction notifications within 24 hours and arrive on-site within five business days. RM procedures include submitting a RM Work Request form for coordination with the COR.

3. Safety Requirements: Providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including reflective clothing, hearing protection, safety harnesses, fall protection equipment, lifting equipment, and other incidentals necessary for safe operation.

4. Reporting: Upon completion of maintenance services, providing a written Service Report detailing the work performed including labor costs and materials used.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed on-base at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
