Eaton-brand Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) System Replacement & Preventative Maintenance   3

This pre-solicitation notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations. A complete Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available on or about 26 FEB 2024, by downloading the documents at the SAM.gov website as follows: https://sam.gov/. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will not issue hard copy solicitations.

The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to solicit a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will utilize procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR 13.5. This requirement will be solicited as other than full and open competition (brand name) IAW FAR 13.501(a).

The Government intends to procure the required Eaton brand Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) required by Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) to replace end-of-life (EoL) systems as well as provide preventative maintenance for the new systems. The place of performance will be 112 Lakeview Parkway, Suffolk, VA 23435. The period of performance will begin 18 MAR 2024 (SUBJECT TO CHANGE).

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335910 Battery Manufacturing, the Federal Supply Code is 6140 - Batteries, Rechargable, and the size standard is 1,250 Employees.

By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying they are not currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to consider the offer for award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
