Eareckson Air Station Container Tower

Background
The Eareckson Air Station (EAS) is seeking contractors for the construction and installation of infrastructure associated with the Container and Tower Array Installation. This project supports the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron for Army North, aiming to enhance communication capabilities at the station. The contract is issued under the authority of the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, emphasizing compliance with various federal, state, and local regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, maintenance, and select materials necessary to install infrastructure for connecting the ARNORTH equipment container to electricity and communications. Key tasks include:
1. **Electrical Integration**: Installation of a 200 Amp sub-panel and related electrical work in accordance with UFC 3-520-01.
2. **Tower Array Installation**: Erection of a Rohn 45 tower including securing it to a concrete pad and ensuring proper anchoring.
3. **Grounding System**: Installation of grounding rods for both the container and tower as per UFC 3-570-06 standards.
4. **Communication Network Installation**: Fabrication and mounting of infrastructure for government-furnished StarShield communication system components.
5. **Logistics & Other Tasks**: Transporting and setting the ARNORTH equipment container on-site, anchoring it securely, and providing cable protection solutions.

Period of Performance
The overall period of performance is ten weeks from contract award, with on-site construction expected to take no more than two weeks (14 calendar days) from initial arrival to final demobilization.

Eareckson Air Station, Shemya Island.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with safety regulations as outlined by OSHA and possess necessary contractor licenses. The opportunity is set aside for small businesses (Small Business Set Aside - Total). Contractors must provide bid/payment/performance bonds as required.
