The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation in Melbourne, FL on a sole source basis for new development end item engineering, end item upgrades, associated integrated logistics support upgrades, and 32 Peculiar Support Equipment end items (attached), in support of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Aircraft.
The Government intends to procure the above service under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
