Dyess AFB ATV/UTV Rental   3

Background
The Dyess Air Force Base (AFB) is looking to procure 10 All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) and four Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs) in order to accomplish training objectives for an upcoming exercise. The purpose of this effort is to support the Cogent Hybrid Exercise at Dyess AFB, TX. The exercise is part of the DoD Security Policy Verification Committee's plan to assess existing and proposed DoD and Service policy, standards, and equipment pertaining to the physical security of US weapon components. DTRA NE-NSN provides technical and tactical expertise, funds, resources, and a small cadre of Force-on-Force staff personnel for these exercises.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide short-term rental for ten ATVs (750 or 850 series) with specific specifications including one passenger seating, cargo bed capacity of at least 400 pounds, 4-wheel drive capability with reverse gear, gasoline operation, standard headlights with on/off, high-beam, and low-beam capability. Additionally, the contractor must provide short-term rental for four UTVs (RZR or similar) with four-seat capacity and specific specifications including standard headlights with on/off, high-beam, and low-beam capability. The rental period for both types of vehicles is from 25 April 2023 to 22 May 2023. The contractor shall also provide maintenance support for the rental vehicles to ensure service is restored within 48 hours of any breakdown.

Period of Performance
The delivery of all items is required no later than 25 April 2023. The period of rental is from 25 April 2023 to 22 May 2023.
