Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) is planning to issue a Request for Proposal for the Livermore Phase A project, which aims to construct a new 150,000 square foot Community Living Center (CLC) in French Camp, CA. The CLC will include a 'Community Center' for administrative functions and social gatherings, as well as a 'residential/home environment' with three distinct 'Residential Neighborhoods' and a 120-bed Nursing Home Care Unit. The project is part of the Northern California Health Care system and is expected to be co-located with other newly constructed facilities over multiple years.

Work Details
The construction project involves building a Community Living Center (CLC) with specific components including administrative functions, residential areas, and support spaces. The CLC will consist of a centralized community center, residential neighborhoods with 10-bed houses, and associated support and staff spaces. The facility will also include a therapy space, administrative offices, centralized kitchen, and community support functions. The project is estimated to have an expected period of performance of 26 months from the date of the notice to proceed.
