Description

This solicitation is for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a Dust collector

Any questions are to be directed to SrA Brandon Jourden and Ms. Sara Lackey as listed in the Point of Contact at the end of this notice.

All questions due by 20 August 2025.

Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

Background
This solicitation is issued by the United States Air Force for a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide and install a dust collection system at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The mission of this project is to enhance the safety and efficiency of the Packing and Crating function of the Cargo Movement Section by installing a new wood dust collection system. The goal is to ensure compliance with safety standards while improving operational capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide and install one (1) Nederman, S-750 Dust Collector with the following specifications: 7.5HP, 208V/60/3, capable of duct velocities between 3500-4000 FPM. The installation includes:

1. Anchoring the collector to the existing concrete floor using wedge-style concrete anchors.
2. Installing Nordfab smooth bore, clamp-together, galvanized-steel dust collection duct and fittings.
3. Supporting ducting from existing structure using 1/8", 7X7 stranded steel cable and Unistrut framing channel.
4. Serving a total of ten (10) drops with eight (8) active ports and two (2) floor sweeps.
5. Fabricating and installing a new capture plenum at the panel saw.
6. Providing manual balancing gates at eight (8) drops.
7. Installing Black Thermoplastic Rubber dust collection duct hose at active ports.
8. Installing two (2) WEN 3416T ambient-air filtration units with remote control capabilities.
9. Providing professional electrical services including installation of conduit, boxes, wire, and outlets for various equipment.
10. Ensuring removal of the old system and all packaging from the new system upon installation.
11. Including a minimum of 12 months warranty for all parts and labor.

The work will be performed at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona.
