Dust Collection System for DLA Distribution Jacksonville FL (DDJF)

Background
This procurement is issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for the purpose of replacing the existing outdoor centralized dust collection system at DLA Distribution Jacksonville, FL (DDJF). The goal of this contract is to ensure a fully functional and efficient dust collection system that meets all federal, state, and local regulations. The current system has been compromised due to age and environmental factors, necessitating a complete overhaul to maintain operational standards in the box shop.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform the following tasks:

1. Demolish and dispose of the existing outdoor centralized dust collection system.
2. Procure and install a new outdoor centralized dust collection system, which includes a motor, blower, collector, airlock, and new outside vent piping system with an explosion-proof damper.
3. Replace all ductwork associated with the new dust collection system for all existing equipment in the DDJF Building 109 Box Shop.

The specific contract line items (CLINs) are as follows:
- CLIN NO. 0001: Supply and install new outdoor centralized dust collection system - Quantity: 1 Each.
- CLIN NO. 0002: Supply and install new ductwork - Quantity: 1 Lot.

Period of Performance
The performance period for CLINs 0001 and 0002 is set at 270 days from the date of contract award. The performance period for CLIN 0003 (which includes one year of preventive and corrective maintenance on the new system) begins after Government acceptance of the entire installed system.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at DLA Distribution Jacksonville, FL; specifically in Building 109 located at Yorktown Avenue, NASJAX, Jacksonville, FL 32212.
