Background
The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozark (VHSO), part of the VISN 16 VA Healthcare Network, requires Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services. The goal is to provide comprehensive services including labor, facilities, pick-up and delivery, set-up, disassembly, storage, repairs, and inventory management of VA-owned equipment to ensure that eligible Veterans receive necessary medical support.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Durable Medical Equipment services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include:
1. Delivery and pick-up of durable medical equipment to/from the VA Medical Facility or beneficiary’s address.
2. Storage, delivery, assembly, setup, installation, and adjustment of basic DME such as manual wheelchairs and scooters.
3. Reclaiming DME which includes disassembly and un-installation.
4. Providing patient instructions for use, care, maintenance & basic troubleshooting of DME.
5. Cleaning and processing of VA equipment ensuring all items are sanitized and stored properly.
6. Performing repairs on all DME and wheelchairs to restore them to first-class condition based on a pre-approved agreement with the Prosthetics & Sensory Aids service.

Period of Performance
Base Period: 03/01/2026 - 02/28/2027; Option Periods extend from 03/01/2027 to 02/28/2031.
