Background
The project involves maintenance dredging in the Duluth-Superior Federal navigation channel, which is located along the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota. The agency responsible for this contract aims to ensure the navigability of the channel, which is crucial for transportation and commerce in the region. The goal of this contract is to mobilize a dredge to perform necessary dredging operations within the channel and manage the disposal of dredged materials at designated sites.

Work Details
The contractor will be required to complete the following tasks: mobilization and demobilization of dredging equipment; perform dredging operations within specified areas of the Duluth-Superior channel; manage the placement of dredged materials at Erie Pier CDF as indicated in the contract documents. Specific dredging areas include:
- Dredge Area 1: First 8,000 CY and over 8,000 CY (16,800 CY)
- Dredge Area 2: First 1,800 CY and over 1,800 CY (3,900 CY)
- Dredge Area 4: First 1,900 CY and over 1,900 CY (5,500 CY)
- Dredge Area 8: First 500 CY and over 500 CY (2,000 CY)
- Dredge Area 23: First 1,800 CY and over 1,800 CY (6,700 CY)
- Dredge Area 26: First 900 CY and over 900 CY (2,100 CY).

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in the Duluth-Superior Federal navigation channel along the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
