Ductless Fume Hood - BEP Washington DC Facility (DCF)   2

Background
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of Treasury responsible for designing, engraving, and printing U.S. banknote currency and other security products.

The Office of Quality Operations (OQO) within BEP seeks to acquire a high-performance ductless fume hood to support quality assurance testing of materials and products used in manufacturing. This equipment will ensure safe handling of chemicals by analysts, preventing hazardous exposure while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide one new ductless chemical fume hood with integrated filtration, including all necessary accessories and components. The fume hood must be capable of venting specific chemicals used in the laboratory, including but not limited to:
- Sulfuric acid
- Hydrochloric acid
- Sodium Hypochlorite
- Ethanol
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Toluene
- Tetrachloroethylene
- Acetone
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Turpentine
- Mineral Spirits
- Sodium Hydroxide.

The following items are required:
- 1 Fume Hood Filtered with 2 Fixtures 115V 6FT
- 8 Molecular Filter Units Neutrodine Unisorb
- 4 Roughing Prefilter Replacements
- 1 WKSRF 6FTW X 36IND NO CPSNK CUT
- 2 Acid Cabinets 36INW.

The contractor will also provide user manuals, maintenance guides, certification documentation, and a warranty for one year on all equipment.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall deliver the equipment and materials within 60 days upon award of the contract.

Place of Performance
Deliverables are to be sent to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing at the Washington DC Facility located at 14th & C Streets S.W., Washington D.C. 20228.
