Drydock: USCGC Swordfish & Osprey DD FY26   3

Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking contractors to perform drydock repairs for two vessels, the USCGC SWORDFISH and USCGC OSPREY. The goal of this contract is to ensure that both vessels are maintained in operational condition through necessary repairs and maintenance during their scheduled drydock periods.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway where the USCGC SWORDFISH and USCGC OSPREY can safely arrive, lie afloat, and depart at all states of the tide at any time of day or night. The facility must have a minimum water depth of 10'11" feet and a minimum height clearance of 50.2" feet. Specific tasks include:

1. Dry dock repairs for both vessels, including but not limited to hull maintenance, system inspections, and necessary upgrades.
2. Submission of detailed plans for sewage and grey water system cleaning procedures.
3. Documentation of prior experience with watertight closure assessments.
4. Handling of mast interferences with sensitive electronic equipment.
5. Submission of welding certifications and procedures as per SFLC Standard Specification 0740.
6. Development of a fire safety plan addressing temporary measures during repairs that may affect fire detection and alarm systems.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the USCGC SWORDFISH is from March 26, 2026, to May 19, 2026, and for the USCGC OSPREY from September 15, 2026, to November 17, 2026.

The work will be performed at the home piers located at:
- USCGC SWORDFISH: 1 Ediz Hook Rd, Port Angeles WA 98362
- USCGC OSPREY: 102 Benedict St, Port Townsend WA 98362
