Drydock: USCGC Sea Lion DD FY26   2

Background
The contract is for the dry dock maintenance availability of the USCGC SEA LION, aimed at completing all standard recurring maintenance items.

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the nation's waters, and this contract supports their mission by maintaining operational readiness of their vessels.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
- Hull plating maintenance
- Cleaning and inspection of underwater body machinery ventilation systems
- Assessment and repair of watertight closures
- Inspection and maintenance of stern tube interiors
- Conducting sea trial performance evaluations.

The work will be executed at the contractor's facility unless otherwise specified in the solicitation. The contractor must ensure that their facility is accessible from a navigable waterway with a minimum water depth of 12 feet and a height clearance of 55 feet. Additional requirements include submitting plans for fire safety, handling mast interferences, welding certifications, thermographic inspection certifications, and sewage system cleaning procedures.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is estimated to begin on April 28, 2026, and end on June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place at the contractor's facility unless specified otherwise.
