Drydock: USCGC Oliver Berry DD FY27   2

Background
The US Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing a solicitation for dry dock services for the USCGC OLIVER BERRY (WPC-1124). The primary goal of this contract is to ensure that the vessel undergoes necessary repairs and maintenance while docked, ensuring its operational readiness.

The home pier for the USCGC OLIVER BERRY is located at 400 Sand Island Pkwy, Honolulu, HI 96819.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway where the USCGC OLIVER BERRY can safely arrive, lie afloat, and depart at all states of tide at any time of day or night. The facility must have a minimum water depth of 12 feet and a minimum height clearance of 60 feet.

Specific tasks include:
1. Conducting dry dock repairs as specified in the attached specifications.
2. Ensuring compliance with SFLC Standard Specification requirements for coatings, sewage and grey water system cleaning, watertight closure assessments, handling mast interferences, thermographic inspections, welding certifications, and fire safety plans.
3. Providing documentation for all required certifications and qualifications as outlined in the solicitation.
4. Submitting a detailed plan addressing how to meet fire detection/alarm/response requirements during the dry dock period.

3. Documentation of prior experience with similar projects involving dry dock repairs.
