Drydock: USCGC Cobia DD FY26   2

Background
The USCGC COBIA (WPB 87311) is a vessel under the jurisdiction of the United States Coast Guard (USCG). This solicitation is for drydock repairs scheduled for Fiscal Year 2026. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the USCGC COBIA is maintained in operational condition through necessary repairs and maintenance performed at a facility that meets specific requirements.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway where the USCGC COBIA can safely arrive, lie afloat, and depart at all states of the tide at any time of day or night. The facility must have a minimum water depth of 12 feet and a minimum height clearance of 55 feet.

The scope includes:
- Submission of documentation for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for servicing technicians.
- Submission of dry dock certifications and pre-award calculations as specified in SFLC Standard Specification 8634.
- Development and submission of a Fire Safety Plan addressing temporary measures for fire detection/alarm systems, identification of personnel responsible for fire response, and mitigation strategies for anticipated breaches in fire protection boundaries during work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from April 21, 2026, to June 24, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the home pier located at 1700 Thomas Dr., Panama City Beach, FL 32408.
