Drydock: USCGC Blacktip DD FY25

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking sources capable of providing drydock repairs for the USCGC BLACKTIP (WPB-87326), which is home ported in Oxnard, California.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the vessel's operational readiness through necessary maintenance and repairs.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the following tasks:
1. Structural Analysis, 3D Laser Scan;
2. Hull Plating (Side Scan), Ultrasonic Testing;
3. Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements;
4. Underwater Body Preservation (100%);
5. Hull Plating Freeboard Preservation (100%);
6. Cleaning and Inspection of Dirty Oil Tank;
7. Cleaning and Inspection of Oily Water Tank;
8. Cleaning and Inspection of MP Fuel Service Tanks;
9. Exterior Decks Preservation;
10. Renewal of Capastic Fairing, Depth Sounder;
11. Realignment of Main Engine/Reduction Gear;
12. Renewal of Intermediate Water-Lubricated Propulsion Shaft Bearings;
13. Renewal of Aft Water-Lubricated Propulsion Shaft Bearings;
14. Renewal of Intermediate Bearing Carriers;
15. Renewal of Aft Bearing Carriers;
16. Renewal of Propulsion Shafts;
17. Preservation of Stern Tube Interior Surfaces (100%);
18. Renewal of Propellers;
19. Renewal of Fathometer Transducer;
20. Renewal of Speed Log, Skin Valve;
21. Maintenance on Sea Water System;
22. Renewal of Rudder Assemblies;
23. Removal, Inspection, and Reinstallation of Stern Launch Door;
24. Renewal of Cathodic Protection/Zinc Anodes;
25. Drydock services;
26. Provision of Temporary Services for Cutter;
27. Support for Sea Trial Performance;
28. Removal and Inspection of Soft Patches;
29. Renewal of Pilothouse Windows;
30. Renewal of Seawater Cooling Piping/Valves;
31. Renewal of RIB Notch Skid Pads, Studs;
32. Preservation of Critical Coated Surfaces; and,
33. Renewal of Interior Deck Covering System and Jointer Deck.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is for approximately 91 calendar days, starting from April 8, 2025, to July 8, 2025.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the contractor’s facility with no geographical restrictions specified for the cutter.
