************AMENDMENT 1************

The purpose of Amendment 1 is to increase the quantity of the dry ice delivery.

The FDA has a requirement for weekly delivery of dry ice to the FDA Long Beach Resident Post.

The contractor shall deliver 600 lbs. dry ice, cut into 10 lbs. slabs once a week on the same day every week by 8:30 AM. The contractor will provide the FDA Long Beach Resident Post with a wheeled dry ice storage bin(s) for storage of weekly dry ice delivery. Ice bin dimension should not exceed 43 L x 27.5 W x 13.5 H to accommodate the space allotted in the FDA Sample Prep Room.

Background
The FDA has a requirement for the weekly delivery of dry ice to the FDA Long Beach Resident Post. The dry ice is essential for the preservation of frozen samples collected during FDA Import Operations and during their transport and shipment to laboratories for analysis, ensuring compliance with FDA standards and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver 400 lbs. of dry ice, cut into 10 lbs. slabs, once a week on the same day every week by 8:30 AM. Additionally, the contractor will provide a wheeled dry ice storage bin(s) for the storage of the weekly dry ice delivery. The dimensions of the ice bin must not exceed 43” L x 27.5” W x 13.5” H to fit in the allocated space within the FDA Sample Prep Room. The FDA reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel any delivery with one day's advance notice.

Period of Performance
One (1) base period plus four (4) option years: Base Period: 7/20/25 – 7/19/2026; Option Year 1: 7/20/26 – 7/19/2027; Option Year 2: 7/20/27 – 7/19/2028; Option Year 3: 7/20/28 – 7/19/2029; Option Year 4: 7/20/29 – 7/19/2030.
