Dry Ice delivery- Long Beach CA

Background
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking to establish a contract for the purchase and weekly delivery of dry ice to the FDA Long Beach Resident Post. This acquisition is essential for the preservation of frozen samples collected during FDA Import Operations, ensuring compliance with FDA standards and regulations during transport and analysis.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver 600 lbs. of dry ice, cut into 10 lbs. slabs once a week on the same day every week by 8:30 AM. The contractor will also provide a wheeled dry ice storage bin with dimensions approximately 41” L x 26” W x 32” H for the FDA Long Beach Resident Post. Deliveries will be made to the following address: U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Long Beach Resident Post, One World Trade Center, Suite 300, FDA Sample Prep Room, Long Beach, CA 90831.

The contractor must show a Real ID for access to the facility and must have delivery personnel capable of providing verifiable identification at the time of delivery.

Period of Performance
One (1) base period plus four (4) option years; Base Period: 9/9/25 – 9/8/2026; Option Year 1: 9/9/26 – 9/8/2027; Option Year 2: 9/9/27 – 9/8/2028; Option Year 3: 9/9/28 – 9/8/2029; Option Year 4: 9/9/29 – 9/8/2030.
