Dry-dock: USCGC THETIS DDL FY26

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing a solicitation for dry-docking services for the USCGC THETIS as part of its maintenance and operational readiness efforts. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the vessel undergoes necessary repairs and maintenance to remain functional and safe for operations. This contract is categorized as a Firm Fixed Price type, indicating that the price will not change regardless of the contractor's costs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing dry-dock services for the USCGC THETIS, which includes but is not limited to:
1. Performing all necessary repairs and maintenance tasks as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW).
2. Submitting detailed pricing for direct materials and subcontracted services separately from labor rates.
3. Ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, including Ship Repairer's Liability and Comprehensive General Liability coverage.
4. Providing welding documentation in accordance with SFLC Standard Specification 0740, including welding procedure specifications (WPS), welder certification documentation, and continuity documentation.
5. Acknowledging pier restrictions and affirming the ability to perform specified repairs given those restrictions.
6. Submitting a written statement regarding pier weight restrictions prior to commencing work.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from June 15, 2026, to September 12, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a designated dry-dock facility capable of accommodating the USCGC THETIS.
