Dry Dock (DD): USCGC Joseph Napier DD FY25   3

Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard for the dry dock repairs of the USCGC JOSEPH NAPIER (WPC 1115). The goal of this contract is to ensure that the vessel is maintained in a state of operational readiness through necessary repairs and maintenance.

The vessel's home pier is located in San Juan, PR, and contractors are encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting their quotes.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway where the USCGC JOSEPH NAPIER can safely arrive, lie afloat, and depart at all states of tide at any time. The facility must have a minimum water depth of 12 feet and a minimum height clearance of 60 feet.

Specific tasks include:
- Dry dock repairs as specified in the attached documentation.
- Submission of documentation for prior experience with watertight hull fittings.
- Certification for thermographic inspection and MTU 20V4000 engine maintenance qualifications.
- Welding certifications and procedures as per SFLC Standard Specification 0740.
- Fire safety plan addressing temporary measures for fire detection/alarm systems during repairs.
- Compliance with electronic submission of payment requests via the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from June 10, 2025, to October 21, 2025.
