Description

SOLICITATION N3220525R6013 IS HEREBY RELEASED. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS.

Background
The Military Sealift Command Norfolk, Strategic Sealift Program Support Office is issuing this solicitation for a Dry Cargo Voyage Charter under RFP N3220525R6013. The acquisition is aimed at securing vessel(s) capable of meeting specific transportation requirements.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide one U.S. or foreign flag, self-sustaining vessel equipped with cranes capable of loading 80,000-lb mobile cranes. The vessel must carry 129 TEUs, including 116 TEUs of containerized ammunition and 13 TEUs of multi-class general cargo, along with 2,700 square feet of rolling stock.

The following specifications must be met:
- Length Overall (LOA) not to exceed 948 ft (289 m).
- Draft not to exceed 50 ft (15.2 m).

Cargo details include:
- 20-foot ISO shipping containers as per packing list.
- Four 40-foot flat racks provided by the contractor upon delivery.
- Average TEU weight is 25,000 lbs; maximum TEU weight is 40,000 lbs.
