Dredging/Marine Construction Industry Day

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New England District is hosting an Industry Day for Dredging/Marine Construction. The purpose of this event is to provide an overview to the Dredging and Marine Construction industry of USACE’s planning, design, environmental coordination, solicitation, and construction processes. It aims to present a list of projects within the New England District’s 5-year plan and engage industry on ways to better partner in the future.

Work Details
The Industry Day will cover projects including deep and shallow draft ports/harbors, disposal facilities, breakwaters, jetties, beach nourishment, and ecosystem restoration work requiring dredging and marine construction contractors of all sizes. The event will take place on March 10, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at USACE New England District, Concord Park – Cafe, 696 Virginia Road, Concord, MA 01742. There is also a virtual option available for participation. Registration is required for all attendees whether virtual or in-person. Instructions to participate online are provided once completed registration form is received. Visitors may be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated or have proof of a negative test within 72 hours prior to the event.
